So with all the rain we had the last few months, the stern (rear) light that is on my trusty boat got rusty and stopped working. I was just about to upgrade to a new LED(Light Emitting Diode)type that has a long burn time. Which will come in handy on those late night catfish trips. I was on this web site just about to order it but I kicked myself, thinking "what IS your problem", "are you not the Mad Inventor himself?" The following photos tell the rest of the story.............................

The ingredients.
An old LED flashlight,
a fiberglass rod,
a opaque plastic container
and a bit of 5 minute epoxy.

Only one hole to drill

Just waiting for the epoxy to harden.

Half an hour later.
